What happens when your skin starts getting troubles and rarely improves over years? I know exactly what happened to me and to a number of girls who have the same problem. We would be crazily looking for skin care cosmetics that can help us clear those troubles and spend a lot of money and time on them. It would be lucky if they help. Otherwise, it would be just a waste of time and money.

I have learned a lesson from this and I am changing my way to improve my skin condition. I realized that changing from inside is much more important than just focusing on the outlook. Since then I have notices significantly positive changes on my skin.

And one of my secret is using skin detox tea. Yogi Skin Detox tea is the one I use most often. I have been using it for 3 years and still love it.

Yogi Skin Detox Ingredients

What does it mean by these?

Some of these are used to support the flavor and some are used to improve your skin condition. I have noticed the 3 most important ones which are green tea leaf, rose petal and hibiscus flower. While green tea leaf supplies a great amount of antioxidants and rose petal helps to clear toxic waste and reduce inflammation, hibiscus assists to regenerate skin cell, prevent breakout and purify your skin. These three top ingredients together helps to soothe your skin, remove unnecessary toxic waste from inside and eventually bring you a healthy glow.

Flavor and allergy

I have seen a few people who don’t like the taste of this tea but to me it’s just okay. I even enjoy drinking this everyday, maybe because I am tea-addicted :D. It’s not bitter but a lightly sweet. I also have not encountered any allergy so far. I think all of the herbal ingredients in this tea are health-friendly.

Caffeine

This is honestly what I don’t like the most in this tea. I would prefer tea without any caffeine since it causes me insomnia but unhappily this does contain caffeine.

This is claimed to have 12 mg of caffeine in each tea bag. So I went over some research on internet and figured out this amount of caffeine will do no harm to my health and it’s not enough to cause any insomnia or nervousness. I tried drinking it before going to sleep and actually, it doesn’t affect my sleep at all. Thus, I am still with this even caffeine is not my thing 😉

How to use

I drink it 2-4 times everyday and stop for a around 1 week in a month. There is no suggestion for stopping but I just want to take a break for my body to handle itself and then continue with outer support.

I normally add a slice of lemon to my cup of tea for a more refreshing flavor and to reduce fat 🙂

P/s: don’t forget to use it with hot water and you can refill with water after your cup runs out.

Overall thoughts

I would rate this 9 out of 10 and the missing 1 is because of caffeine. However, that is enough for me to keep using this.

I noticed my skin starting to glow after first 2 weeks of drinking. Redness and pimples around my cheeks and forehead area also faded away after a month. It didn’t completely go away all at once but gradually over months. I still break out sometimes but much less than before and the pimples are easier to cure and disappear quicker. I somehow can feel that my skin health is getting better everyday, skin condition is also less sensitive thanks to this detox tea.

Have you tried out this, what is your thought then?
